Clinton Steps It Up a Notch

The AP is reporting that Sen. Hillary Clinton, the almost next President of the United States, is stepping up her support for Sen. Obama with a new outreach program called "Hillary Sent Me," which will feature some of those former Hillary backers we all know and saw on TV way too much to campaign in major Swing States.

[From The AP]
"Today I am asking all of you to stand up with me, to hit the road and spread the word that we must elect Barack Obama president and send a Democratic, filibuster-proof majority to Congress," Clinton told supporters in a conference call Friday. "This is a call to action, a must-do. We all have a role. And there is not a moment to lose."

Even though recent polls show that the party is indeed Unified again, it seems as Clinton is willing to take no chances. If Obama somehow loses, some blame will surely come back to her and her husband. The little outreach programs such as this one will ensure that if Obama was, god forbid, to lose... Hillary Clinton can say she did all she could. However, there still seems to be something going on with former Pres. Clinton. It will be interesting if we see him hit the stomp as part of this whole "Hillary Sent Me" thing.
