McCain: Lets Postpone the Debates, Obama: Yeah...no.

Breaking: John McCain wishes to postpone the Debates in order to focus on the economic crisis. Obama is doing a news conference as I type saying that it is possible to both focus on this crisis and continue the debates. Obama said "we both have big planes...that can get us from Washington to Mississippi pretty quickly."

It looks like politics is playing a big role in this. Obama is saying that he started rolling this along with the want for a joint statement. Obama's want to keep the debates going gives McCain an opening to use his "country first" line of attack, but Obama keeps stressing that a president must be able to multi-task.
